Understanding
Swastika

Since World War II, the Swastika has been wrongly
associated with the Nazis in the western world.
Understanding Swastika, an initiative of the Swastika
Awareness Coalition (SAC), aims to bring about the
correct understanding of a sacred symbol that has been
used for thousands of years by close to 2 billion people
worldwide, and distinguish it from the Nazi Hakenkreuz
(“hooked cross”), the symbol of hate and bigotry.
